We start with the simple but profound revelation that you are God’s child and therefore his ambassador.
Wherever you set your foot, you stand as God’s representative and have been given power and authority to extend his kingdom there. From this place, evangelism isn’t something to be done or to attend, but rather a lifestyle to embrace in partnership with the Holy Spirit. Our vision is to see students come alive in Jesus’ spiritual authority and transform their spheres of influence.
Practically speaking, Campus Awakening does two things:
First, we train and equip individual students as ambassadors and make space for them to connect and pray with other students in their embassy (a body of ambassadors who share a common sphere within university life). This will happen through our monthly Hub Nights.
Second, we invite students to come together on Embassy Adventures and step into a Christian lifestyle that is characterised by risk, faith and the supernatural power of God.
We want to take our place in the wider conversation of student ministry that many wonderful movements such as Fusion, Alpha and 24-7 Prayer have already begun and in which they are doing some incredible work. We will continue to produce a variety of resources that encourage students and equip the churches who work with them, as well as hosting strategic leadership gatherings that will strengthen anyone and everyone working in a campus context.
