Exciting news! We’re joining forces with the wider Jesus Culture family to be a part of JMCE in Romania this Easter… could you be there with us?
Read on to find out more…
Taking place from 11th-14th April, in Sighisoara, Romania, we’ll join in with work projects, children’s ministry, community outreach and more! Plus we’ll worship together every day and get input from some amazing speakers.
Romania is a nation with rolling green hills, rich earth, a beautiful people and at the same time overwhelming need. It has been less than thirty years since the fall of communism and the land and the people are still in the process of healing as they embrace the freedom they had been starving for. In such a small country of just over 19 million people, there are over 60,000 orphans and many more children who are living at risk. In the poorer communities family dynamics have broken down, the majority of the children do not even make it to the fourth grade.
The Mission – our hosts, and an incredible ministry with over 30 years experience – are committed to Romania for the long haul and are desperate to see God move powerfully in the nation. JCME is our opportunity to stand with them and add strength to their work, being a catalyst for kingdom extension in the city of Sighisoara.
Not only is this a brilliant opportunity to bless all the people we will meet, but also one in which you can get out of your comfort zone, experience God in new ways and be activated in a lifestyle that will follow you home. You’ll also get to build relationship with students and leaders from across the Campus Awakening family as well.
What better things could you be doing with your Easter holidays?!
Here’s what you need to do:
- Head to the Jesus Culture Missions Experience page to read all the details and FAQs:
- Book yourself and anyone else in your group on – don’t forget to put ‘Campus Awakening’ in the group section of the booking form so you are placed with other students and leaders from around the CA family.
- Work out how you’re going to get to Cluj Airport before 11am on Thurs 11th April. Once you’re there, everything else will be taken care of until you are dropped back at the airport on Sunday 14th. (By all means take the opportunity to extend your time in Romania, but that’s up to each individual/group to arrange themselves)
